And to continue on with what I wrote about yesterday. Every day at my job you see people call on their faith to help them through what ever they are going through at the time. Some yes just praising him or just talking about their faith . You see I work in a hospital ,in that environment it can bring out the best and worst in people .But one thing you can count on is a discussion about god on a daily basis from more than on person.

               They tend to look at you funny when you don't join in or feel the same they do . Sometimes its unconvertable  to say the least .But I am not the one to tell them about it because its their faith . Because of the nature of the atmosphere in a hospital faith plays a role in what we do there. 

               My problem is I am not understanding it a all . How can anyone just out of the clear blue sky have this believe in someone that does not always come through , and then no matter the outcome its gods will . To me its just plain and simple stuff happens . There is not one thing you can do about it . All that happens in a hospital is that they prolong life until they run out ideas. 

               I not saying there is no God , I just don't feel the way most people do . I just don't how you can put him in charge of everything . You see I feel we were given the tools do something about most everything . It's just up us to put them to good use . That's where another problem arise's. . We are only human , when get involved in anything there is a chance we will make mistakes or use it for ill .

             Everyday on the news you see faith being pushed to the extremes to where it infringes on the rights of others. Or pushed to the extreme of violence . Hence the confrontations in the world today. So how is faith good to have when there is so much chance that faith itself becomes evil in it self . Yes I believe in something but I don't think I can put in control of my actions. The world has all the tools in it for me to live but its up to me to learn how to use them in a way that does not cause harm. Also the world does not owe a thing ,so I will have to take upon myself to put forth the effort to make life better for myself and others around me whom may benifit from efforts.

             Again I must remind you this is just for the sake creating discussion and a little food for thought.Now that its out there I leave it to you to think about where you stand in your believe's. Mine are mine and yours are yours , however there is a chance trough discussion an understanding can come of it.

     This a subject I have given considerable thought to throughout my life . Its something I've been trying to understand since my youth . I was raised a Roman Catholic ,going to church to me seemed like it was a duty .Something we had to do because Mom said so .We went to the Sunday Classes afterwords .
     The way we were taught was as if this is the way you must think because they said so . You could not question it ,for you would be labeled a troublemaker . This is not easy to put down for it is of such a personal nature. The one thing I couldn't understand is when people said " Put it in Gods hands " . I knew one thing as a youth that the dishes would not get done if I didn't do them myself ,you cold not pray that they would be done when you wake up in the mourning . If they were done someone had to of done them , either Mom or Dad did them and I would hear about it . That is the way it is with everything else in life . If you don't work to get the money to pay the rent ,buy food and on and on , there are direct consqueses involved . Things do not happen unless you put some work into and your reward would follow. Basicly someone has to pay for it somewhere down the line.
      Don't get me wrong , all this , I mean the whole universe , right down to the smallest molecule is by no means a cosmic accident . Something or someone had to cause it happen . Hence the cause and effect rule in nature and life ,for every action there is a equal reaction . Then also everyone must have also a moral compass too. That has more do do with the examples laid before us by our parents and community leaders ,and we also had to be receptive to the lessons given us . As I said nothing happens without a little investment of time and work being put it to it.
      Here's another thing the major books on religion were written by man , then they will say it was God inspired . It as goes back to to blind faith in something that can't  be totally proven without a doubt .Is there something I missed in my lessons on how to have blind faith . Is it taught or are you born with it .Those books were used for century's to control government's ,people and wars fought over ,and still is happening today .

       So in conclusion where does this put me , there is something out there responsible for our existence ,there is some reason the sun goes up in the mourning and goes down in the evening . I will remain open to enlightenment what ever it maybe and how ever it may come . But remember I am of the generation where you question everything . Maybe one day it will come to me . Just remember when you read this these are just my thoughts alone , I have no agenda just seeking discussion and understanding ,not condemning  anyone for their faith because it's theirs alone . It has no effect on my life, because I have find it on my own .

     To stick with the title of my blog "Thoughts From The Head " .This thought has been around awhile ,just now getting around to putting it in print .Just curious to see if any one has had the same thought . How long has it been that our government has had a budget . Deadlines has come and gone and still no budget . Seriously if we had this kind of performance on our jobs ,would we still have them . I think not ! But yet we keep on putting these same people in . Everyone pointing fingers at the different parties , I think that it much more than a Democrat or a Republican issue . Its an American issue . We  the people need to to do something about it . See we have the power to give them their pink slips . Its called The voting booth , if they can't do the job put some one else in .It don't really matter what party ,and they don't perform vote them out . I believe that we should not have career representation , we we common everyday citizens,whom know what a deadline is ,that knows if you don't pay the rent , you will not have place to live .Lets get some people in there that does not owe some big company a favor or is the hip pocket of some union . Whom will vote according to the will of the people ,which is why they are there in the first place . Lets get this country back on track and working again .
     I only wrote this to get people thinking and talking . Not start argument's , I don't do them . this here is one person thoughts , what is yours .

     Well I have only written three posts on this blog , to tell you the truth I really have no idea of what am doing . I just been posting what ever comes to mind .  Hoping to stir up some kind of conversation with some one . I can say this, Google + has a lot of interesting people on here .All intelligent minds in many areas. I could hardly hope to reach the quality of posts that have seen on here .I enjoy reading them , oh the photos that have seen on here are wonderful .
         Now to just discover what to write about , Just how do I do this . Let me make a list .
           1.Read as many other blogs as I can in a verity of subjects .
           2. comment on as many blogs that I even have a little thought of .
           3. Get out of the house and get involved in something .
           4. Talk to people
           5. Watch the news
           6- Form an opinion on something { and have all the facts to back it up }

    If anyone reads this please do add to the list or expand on what is all ready here . I am just looking to do some thing with this and want to be able to enjoy the effort and I put into it . What good is doing anything if you don't enjoy it and get some kind of benefit from it .We all need some kind of validation for our efforts no matter how small ,in everything we do .

    Well last night while at work as I was walking my floors ,I thought of my dog ; Marmaduke . My Mother got her for us kids , at the time my Dad was in the Navy and was doing a tour of duty in Vietnam . This was back in 1969 ; I was thirteen then .
    My brothers and sister also me had the great idea of naming  her after the cartoon character in the daily paper ,hence the name " Marmaduke " . I guess I may as well get on with what I thought about .
   The first night we had this beautiful  brown ,tan with black strips German Shepperd collie mix pup home I couldn't sleep . So my mother allowed to lay on the floor in the living room with her . We were watching The Johnny Carson Show , I believe Tiny Tim  was a guest that night ,shoot he was a frequent guest back then .
   My Mother noticed that neither the dog or I want to be the first to fall asleep . We would lay there and our eye lids would drop then they pop open again . This went on all the way through the whole show till finally one of us lost the battle. To this day its unclear who won . But that isn't what matters . A thirteen year old boy  meet his best Friend .
    Some to hang  out with, some one he could talk to and not get that judge mental stare from . I just knew she understood every thing I said . My Mom always said that if she could talk oh the stories she could tell about me. She was there for me at a time in my life I really needed my Father around . It was not his fault though , he had made a commitment to our country in a time that he did not get the respect he was due from the public. So in conclusion it was not easy time for any one who had lived in this kind of situation but we found our ways to cope and life goes on . The thing that matters is a boy found a life long friend that every time he thinks of today brings a smile to his face , realizes it wasn't that bad . We all made it through it and seen more happy times, made more memories to think of fondly .

      Well let me introduce myself , I am new to this blogging thing and by no means am I an expert in any topic . Mostly what I will be doing is talking about thoughts off the top of my head. By all means I invite all comments and opinions . Because I know I can learn from others and it will help me become more informed and may alter my opinion .
       I am just your average person , who works hard to just make ends meet . I work a third shift and spend a lot of time by myself on the the job .Which gives me a lot of time with my thoughts . I also just recently bought my first computer and learning about it . Shoot , today in fact is the fist time I turned on the TV since I got the computer , and yes I will make mistakes .There isn't a day that goes buy that I don't discover something new on it .
      I will be reading as many posts ,news articles , books ,and talking to as many people that I can. My interests are wide and many . They also change from day to day . This I do know I love music ,movies . Have an interest in the direction the U.S. is going , and very disappointed in the recent performence of our government .I am by nature conservative .I understand the fact that there are many out there that may disagree with my views , but they are not set in concrete . If I can be rationally convinced to alter my views I will . Well isn't that purpose of blogging , to create discussion ,express views and to learn . Please let me know if I am wrong .

Each one adds to who are ,adds to how we see life . So who we are forever changes day to day . Thats why they say life is a learning experience . So join me in my travels , in hopes that we may learn from each other .

 Here lately I have been considering how I will be thought of a hundred years from now. What has me thinking of this is that some one in my family had been researching our family tree . On some of my relations there was not much to be found on them , a census report ;draft card ;some military records. Nothing on what they thought ,or anything to say what kind of person they were . 
  Which brings us to today. Here we are today , with access to computers  ; Facebook , Twitter ,Google + ,and our blogs . All medical records are done online ,banking online ,even what movies we watch ,music we listen to can be found online . So when some one a hundred years from now will have a wealth of information to glean from to discover whom we are how we lived and so forth . 
 Now to the point I want make , every post ,comment , like , +1 ,everything we do online is drawing a picture that will last and it will tell someone in the future who we are . So can you tell yourself , that the picture you are painting yourself the one you want leave behind . Does that say that we need to be mindful of this or should we live and let what will be. 
 This is something to wonder about ,and maybe get some discussions started . Just a little food for the head .
